"S" SARS-CoV-2 Spike Glycoprotein mRNA is of high-quality

The high quality of the "S" SARS-CoV-2 Spike Glycoprotein mRNA can be seen in Figure 1, which shows that the majority of the in vitro transcribed mRNA migrates as a single species on a 1.5% denaturing agarose gel. A small proportion of the transcript is truncated (indicated by the *) due to an internal sequence in the Spike mRNA that causes T7 polymerase to pause.
