Description

Exo-Check Exosome Antibody Array (Neuro) Mini . Cat# EXORAY510A-8. Supplier: SBI System Biosciences

Overview

Building deep insights from exosomes—confirm neuronal markers

Whether you’re interested in biomarker discovery, studying normal neural processes, or unraveling the biological basis for neurological diseases, exosomes shed by neural cells can provide critical data and key insights. To help researchers quickly and efficiently identify exosomes carrying neuronal markers, SBI now offers the Exo-Check Exosome Antibody Array (Neuro), an extension of our popular and effective Exo-Check Array technology that enables antibody-based detection of many targets in parallel with the convenience and simplicity of a membrane-based dot-blot.

Available as a comprehensive standard array with 11 targets and 3 controls (Tables 1 and 3), as well as a sample-saving mini array, with 5 targets and 3 controls (Tables 2 and 3), the Exo-Check Exosome Antibody Array (Neuro) enables sensitive detection of both exosome-specific and neuron-specific markers in a single experiment. Use as little as 10 µg of total protein from EV-containing lysates and efficiently get the answers you need.

  • Sensitive—use as little as 10 µg of input protein for profiling general EV and neuronal-associated markers
  • Intuitive—provided in a simple, easy-to-use membrane-based dot-blot array format
  • Scalable—profile up to 11 targets and 3 controls without the hassle of western blotting
  • Compatible—suitable for EVs isolated using column-based/SEC methods, ultracentrifugation, and precipitation, as well as immuno-affinity captured EVs
  • Evidence-based—targets are carefully chosen from the literature and have been shown to be associated with EVs
A guide to our Exo-Check Exosome Array (Neuro) antibodies Table 1. Standard Kit

1. To correctly orient the array, place the notched corner in the upper left-hand position
2. NEG = Negative control
3. EXO = General exosome marker
4. CON = Cellular contamination control
5. NEV = Neuronal-associated EV marker

Sample Exo-Check Antibody Array (Neuro) data showing exosome detection and confirmation of the presence of neuronal markers. (A) EVs were isolated from 250 µl of pooled human serum using SBI’s ExoQuick Reagent, and 10 µg of EV-associated protein were loaded onto a standard Exo-Check Neuro Array. (B) EVs were isolated from 250 µl of a different pooled human serum sample and 50 µg of EV-associated protein were loaded onto a mini Exo-Check Neuro Array.

The Exo-Check Neuro Array is sensitive, providing robust and reproducible signal from as a little as 10 µg of input sample. EVs were isolated from 250 µl of human serum using ExoQuick Reagent ,and either 10 µg, 20 µg, or 50 µg of EV-associated protein were loaded onto a standard array.
